Coyle Homecare is recruiting an experienced Paediatric Complex Care Carer to support a child with significant respiratory and enteral care needs in the Guildford area. This is a rewarding 1:1 role within the family home, requiring a high level of clinical competence and professionalism.

Shift Pattern

• Day Shifts: 08:00 – 17:00

• Night Shifts: 22:00 – 07:00

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering safe, person-centred complex care to a child requiring continuous respiratory and feeding support. You will work as part of a dedicated care team, ensuring the child’s wellbeing, comfort, and safety at all times.

Essential Clinical Skills

Applicants must be fully competent and up to date in:

• Tracheostomy care & airway management

• Ventilation support via tracheostomy

• Oral and tracheal suctioning

• Nebuliser administration

• Gastrostomy button care

• PEG feeding & medication administration

• Monitoring respiratory status and identifying deterioration

• Provide high-quality paediatric complex care in the home

• Support safe breathing, feeding, and personal care needs

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation

• Work collaboratively with parents and professionals

• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and infection control

Requirements

• Previous experience in paediatric complex care

• Evidence of competency in all listed clinical skills

• Enhanced DBS

• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
