Contract: Part-Time – 4 Days per Week
Hours: 8:45am – 4:15pm

About the Role

Coyle Homecare is seeking a caring and experienced Learning Care Support Assistant (LCSA) to support children and young people with additional needs in a school setting.
The role involves assisting with daily care, mobility, and learning activities, ensuring safety, comfort, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, support with manual handling, and use of hoists safely.

• Assist pupils with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and complex needs.

• Support learning activities, encouraging engagement and independence.

• Follow individual care and education plans (EHCPs).

• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.

• Maintain safeguarding, confidentiality, and a safe learning environment.

Requirements

• Previous care experience (e.g., support worker, carer, healthcare assistant).

• Manual handling and hoist training (essential).

• Experience supporting children or young adults with physical or learning disabilities.

• Caring, patient, and reliable.

• Enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred).

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
