Overview

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Trained Complex Cares to join our team, providing high-quality, person-centred care to adults with complex medical and learning needs.

This is a permanent role with opportunities for overtime. You will support adult clients who require assistance with mobility, personal care, and engagement in community and leisure activities.

Candidates must be trained in complex care, epilepsy, and seizure management, and be flexible to cover days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans

• Assist with mobility and positioning (wheelchair use, hoisting, and manual handling)

• Support with feeding, medication administration, and daily routines

• Manage and respond appropriately to epileptic seizures and related medical needs

• Encourage independence, social interaction, and community participation

• Accompany clients on outings, activities, and holidays

• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team

• Promote dignity, respect, and inclusion at all times

Requirements

• Must be a car driver (essential)

• Trained in complex care, epilepsy, and seizure management (essential)

• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, and physical impairments

• Confident in manual handling and use of hoisting equipment

• Experience supporting clients with feeding difficulties and dysphagia

• Physically able to provide mobility support and personal care

• Flexible, reliable, and committed to delivering person-centred care
