Key Responsibilities
As a Paediatric Complex Carer with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to a young service user. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities:
- Provide continuous overnight monitoring and support.
- Manage and respond to seizures effectively.
- Support ventilation care.
- Manage NJ/NG feeding tubes safely.
- Observe and record vital signs and overall wellbeing.
- Assist with repositioning and ensuring comfort throughout the night.
- Escalate any clinical concerns promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the family and wider healthcare team.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care within a home environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication at all times.
Key Job Requirements
To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in complex care and/or community care.
- Experience supporting children with complex medical needs.
- Knowledge or experience of epilepsy and seizure management.
- Understanding of ventilation support.
- Experience with NJ/NG tube feeding.
- Confidence working independently on night shifts.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.

- Night shifts: 10:00pm – 6:00am
