Paediatric Complex Care Assistant – Twickenham

About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Paediatric Complex Care Assistant to support two home-schooled children with complex medical needs in their family home. You’ll provide safe, person-centred care while promoting comfort, dignity, and engagement in daily activities.


Clinical Needs:

  • Dystonia

  • Epilepsy (seizure management)

  • Non-verbal communication (use of alternative communication methods)

  • NIV/CPAP support (night-time or rest use)

  • PEG feeding (nutrition and medication administration)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on, high-quality care in line with the care plan.

  • Monitor and respond to seizure activity or respiratory changes.

  • Support PEG feeding and personal care routines.

  • Encourage participation in learning and play activities during the day.

  • Maintain accurate daily records and communication logs.

  • Work collaboratively with parents and the wider healthcare team.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months recent complex paediatric experience (community or hospital).

  • Confident with NIV/CPAP, PEG care, and seizure management.

  • Up-to-date clinical training (Coyle Homecare can provide refreshers).

  • Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK.

  • Kind, patient, and reliable with good communication skills.
