Support Worker – Paediatric Brain Injury (2:1)

We are recruiting male and female Support Workers to provide 2:1 support for a 13-year-old young person with a brain injury in Bury. This is a hands-on, child-focused role suited to active, socially confident individuals.

The Role

• 2:1 support at home, in school, and in the community
• Supporting social activities, sports, music, and outings
• Following an individual rehabilitation support plan
• Maintaining full focus on the young person at all times

Clinical Support

• Brain injury care
• Dystonia support
• Observations
• Use of splints

(Full training provided)

Shifts

• Up to 93 hours per week (ICB funded)
• 7 days per week
• Mon–Fri: 07:00–16:00 / 07:00–19:00
• 5 nights during secondary school term

About You

• Male or female applicants
• Driver essential (manual preferred)
• Fit, proactive, and confident with young people
• Reliable, attentive, and professional
