Learning Care Support Assistant (Male) – College Setting

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 4:15pm
Location: College setting

Coyle Homecare is seeking a Male Learning Care Support Assistant to support students with complex needs in a college environment.

Role Overview:
You will provide 1:1 and small group support to students with needs including epilepsy, manual handling, and challenging behaviours, helping them to access education safely and positively throughout the college day.

Key Duties:

• Support students during lessons and daily activities

• Assist with personal care and manual handling

• Support students with epilepsy and follow individual care plans

• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours

• Promote independence, safety, and wellbeing

Requirements:

• Experience supporting individuals with complex needs

• Calm, patient, and reliable approach

• Ability to carry out personal care and manual handling (training provided)

• Commitment to safeguarding

• Enhanced DBS required
