Overview
Are you an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Nurse looking for a rewarding role in Wiltshire? This role offers competitive rates of £35.00 - £40.00ph, ongoing training, and the chance to make a real difference.
This is to support a gentleman with highly complex neurological and medical needs living independently in his own home in Wiltshire.This individual requires 24-hour support following a significant neurological history including brain tumours, stroke, seizures, endocrine dysfunction, and diabetes.
The successful candidate will work closely with the client, family members, and multidisciplinary teams to promote safety, independence, emotional wellbeing, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
As a Complex Care Nurse with Coyle Homecare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to service users. You will be expected to fulfil the following responsibilities for this package:
- Provide high-quality complex nursing care within the client’s home environment
- Manage and monitor complex neurological and endocrine conditions
- Support with diabetes management including blood glucose monitoring, Libre sensor monitoring, and insulin administration
- Monitor for signs of seizures, infection, sepsis, adrenal crisis, and clinical deterioration
- Administer and manage medications including hormone replacement therapies
- Support mobility, transfers, falls prevention, and neurorehabilitation exercises
- Monitor skin integrity, pressure areas, hydration, nutrition, and continence needs
- Support use and maintenance of CPAP/non-invasive ventilation equipment
- Maintain accurate clinical records and escalate concerns appropriately
- Provide emotional reassurance and support whilst promoting independence and dignity
- Support access to the community, appointments, and social activities using the client’s Motability vehicle
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse (Adult) with a valid NMC PIN
- Experience working within complex care, neurological care, ICU, rehabilitation, or community nursing
- Confident managing complex long-term conditions and clinical deterioration
- Experience with diabetes management and medication administration
- Knowledge of seizure management and emergency escalation procedures
- Strong clinical assessment and observation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently within a home care environment
Desirable
- Experience supporting clients with acquired brain injury or stroke rehabilitation
- Experience managing endocrine disorders and steroid-dependent conditions
- Knowledge of CPAP/non-invasive ventilation
- Experience within community complex care packages
